Texas Youth Music Network was founded to solve a recurring
problem in music education:
for a lot of school music programs, playing an instrument
means performing whatever the teacher assigns — with no
competitions, no awards, no ensemble playing, and no real
chance to connect with other musicians.
TYMN gives young musicians across Texas real chances to
compete, perform together, and connect with a community of
other musicians — not just play what's already on the
stand.
